Is there a way to keep acrylic paint from washing off a glass vase? Trying to salvage a class project :(?

Only AFTER a whole class of 1st graders finished their share of the vases did I realize the paint (water based acrylic) will probably come off with the first use. go to walmart or michaels and look for a sealer...there are many kinds you can paint over things to seal the paint..the only thing is...you are probably going to have to do it...because it will be toxic to the kidsIs there a way to keep acrylic paint from washing off a glass vase? I paint alot of glass. The cheapest thing I've found that works is clear spray paint. The $ .99 can at the dollar store or walmart works great. Just spray an even coat over the piece %26amp; let dry. It'll have a shiny gloss to it %26amp; be easy to clean.
I have found an acrylic varnish. It is an enamel varnish that I found at Michaels especially made for glass. It is in the enamel acrylic paint section.
Sealer will prevent the paint from washing off, but it's too late to apply something that will stop the chipping. Even the sealer will chip off.
you should have primed it with bullseye 123 or used glass paint for crafts
