Sherwin Williams sells a paint called TileClad. It,s a 2 part epoxy paint that has superior bonding strength and durability. It dries harder than concrete. It's a bit messy and not the easiest paint to work with though. What is the best paint to use on glass? How do you make it where you can wash the glasses?
If you are willing to hand wash, the enamels used on models will stand up fairly well, especially if you thoroughly clean the glass with soap and water before painting and then wipe it down with denatured alcohol for best adhesion.
If you want it as tough as commercial glasses and bottles, then you have to use real enamels which are glass based glazes that are fired onto the glass.
