My dishwasher has made my glasses all foggy and when I wash by hand they remain foggy. Any suggestions?

I can't even remove the 'dirty look' by using a towel to try clean the glasses.My dishwasher has made my glasses all foggy and when I wash by hand they remain foggy. Any suggestions?
If your glasses don't come ';clean'; or clear with a product like CLR, then your problem is the glass itself is etched, and there is nothing you can do about it. Often times, dishwasher detergents are a bit harsher than regular dish soap and will slowly remove the finishes off dishes and etch (scratch) glasses. Using a rinse agent like ';Jet Dry'; will help slow or eliminate the damage.

Good Luck! ;)My dishwasher has made my glasses all foggy and when I wash by hand they remain foggy. Any suggestions?
If this continues to happen, I say it is time for a new dishwasher. If you dont have the money for that (which is totally understandable) you must do a cold cycle on your washer if it has it. See, if you do a hot wash a lot of steam comes and therefore fogs up your glasses. Think of how when you breathe on a window, it will get all foggesd up. Hope this helped! :) Best of Luck
do you use a rinsing agent? That could help. also, once a month your dishwasher needs to be cleaned without dishes to get rid of food particles and soap residue. Add one cup of vinegar to the bottom of your dishwasher and turn on. Remember, don't have any dishes especially silverware!

good luck
Steam it, or rather point the glass into the steaming air, then wipe it off by a slightly damp soft cloth.

Or you can just let it air dry after you wash it on the dishwasher, pull it out just when it's done and don't get it off the tray, let it air dry first...
Clean your glasses with a little shaving cream. It keeps them from fogging up for a while.

So say the ladies from ';How Clean Is Your House?';

It works! !
