What do you use to wash lotion off glass?

I dont know if its lotion, but its an oily substance on my car window. What do you use to wash lotion off glass?
This is the best advice even for eyeglasses.

Dish soap, like the stuff you use in the sink, and hot hot water.

Dish soap was designed for grease removal and binds with the grease molecules to help it wash away with the water. Windex will work after several rounds of spraying and wiping and smearing the grease all over. The best thing is that dish soap is safe with tintings and special coatings (even antiglare coatings on glasses). What do you use to wash lotion off glass?
soap and water,
I have good luck with very dilute ammonia and squeegie. I wipe it off with news paper.
soap
Windex. Or get a hot rag with some dawn and it should take it off.
Seriously: Take some Tabasco and soak it into a sponge...it'll break up the ';oily substance.'; Don't let it get on your paint though.
ask your local jiz-mopper. youll find him at a nearby nudie booth.
ammonia and vinegar. (windex)

a regular glass cleaner with newspaper is the best way to do it
soap and water. windex if that doesnt work.... then ';goof off'; trust me it works. it smells really bad though
If windex isn't working try using dish soap.
windex
Windex
Try dish washing soap. It's great at lifting grease.
try windex, but first try a damp paper towel that should leave a streak then clean it all up with windex. good luck
Why not try dish soap (liquid - not the type for a dishwasher) and warm water?

It works for glass dishes, it seems like it should work for your windshield.

Good luck.
windexx!!
Dawn dishwashing soap or any good degreaser.
use dish soap it really works because it like will soak n2 it and obsorb all of the oily or detergent but definately not WINDEX!!
Soapy warm to hot water will do just fine.
