Washing sugar away with a glass full of water?

One day I refused a very sugary, chocolate brownie because I had already eaten so many sugary treats for the day--and I eat a lot of it in general eventhough it makes me jittery at times...My friend, who offered it, says that its okay to over-indulge as long as I wash it down with lots of water. Who else believes this to be true? I'm not really buying this, plus I'm not a big fan of drinking water. He made it sound so simple.Washing sugar away with a glass full of water?
You are right. Water cannot reduce the empty calories in candy. However, drinking water is good.Washing sugar away with a glass full of water?
This is not true at all.
Definitely not true. Nothing is ever going to ';reverse'; eating junkfood. Water is great for keeping healthy in many other ways though; keeping you hydrated and can also be drunk instead of an unhealthy snack (keeps you full for awhile). It just isn't helpful in the way your friend is talking about.
