either your dishes are still too dirty and you need to pre-rinse or you have hard water. Try some jetdry works for us.Why does our dishwasher have what looks like sand on the glasses after we wash the dishes?
Try running the dishwasher (with no dishes in side) with some CLR follow directions, and for a better alternative other than CLR use vinegar again with no dishes inside the dishwasher to clean the inside of the dishwasher, %26amp; when washing the dishes try using jet dry to help keep the dishwasher running like new (read the bottle for directions). Last but not least rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher (rising off any food particles) if none of the above works contact the manufacture and see what they have to say you may need to buy a new dishwasher. Why does our dishwasher have what looks like sand on the glasses after we wash the dishes?
I wandered the same thing , because mine had started doing that , and what I have done is started using less dishwasher detergent , and instead of jet dry I pour white vinegar in the place where it goes , and I also realized that it is also some food particles along with the detergent that was in my glasses so I had to start rincing the dishes before i put them into the dishwasher , or hand wash my glases , nothing else had the sand looking stuff on the top rack except for the gllasses and I think that it is wierd , but when I use less soap it isnt there .....
good advice here since most people do use too much soap in the d/w's but when that happens you will get a white, cloudy film on your dishes.
your problem is you dont have hot enough water to dissolve the soap properly. make sure you water heater is at least 120 degrees and that you are using the water heat option. some call it high temp wash and others call it temp boost, but you need hot water to make your unit work properly and dissolve the soap to get rid of the grit.
I use a pre-measured tab like ELECTROSOL in my dishwasher however, I would get tiny particles in my dishwasher so I cleaned the filter out in the door AND I run an empty load once a month of unsweetened drinkmix like Kool-Aid or Lemonade of some sort.. It takes any deposits off you machine and won't harm it at all !
Good luck
Most people use way too much dish machine soap, the soap has sharp edges and will eventually etch into the glass (like sand-blasting); once the undissolved soap has been shot around your dishes a bunch, it is fine enough to be like sand.
just add a bit of bleach for a few washes . then use a half cup of vinegar per wash and you wont have that prob again and it is cheaper than the spot rinse .
Sounds like your using too much soap. You should use Jet Dry, makes your dishes rinse good on the rinse cycle
try cleaning the filter on the door
