Same here, I have upped the amount of times I actually wash my face, and i have made sure that I drink plenty of water and avoid too much fatty foods. I know my glasses draw attention away from the shiny nose but it does make me self concious too. Seems to me like you just have an oily t-zone! why don't you buy some oil blotting sheets from clearasil or clinique, that solves the problem on the spot! Also, don't use facial cleansers that have oil in them, or that are too cheap or harsh on your face. Just because you want a less oily skin does not mean you want to dry it out. Try something moderate, like clean and clear from neutragena..wow I sound like a commercial..
Dab/wipe a little witch-hazel onto the oily area, it helps without being too strong, I think that you can get them in the form of wipes.
When have you checked your blood pressure?


High blood pressure can cause such symptoms.

It's your bodies natural defences protecting you.Better to have moist skin where your glasses rest than to have dry irritated skin.However, you could always carry a cotton hanky in your pocket and wipe your face when you feel the need.
